Meet Allie Williamson!  Allie is President of One World Relocation and runs this global based company out of Naples, Florida.  I appreciate being able to live and work so close to an airport that offers frequent flights for my business, it’s definitely an added convenience.

Allie hails from Manhattan where she spent most of her adult life until a business opportunity took her to Cleveland, Ohio where she met Billie, and before long they decided they wanted to start a life together. They felt fortunate to find Naples as Billie’s Mom was living there. They fell in love with Naples and bought a home in 2005.  Call it serendipity, but Allie would not trade Naples for the world, which says a lot as Allie is literally a world traveler!

Q: How did you come about your current career?
A:  Well, I’m an accountant by trade, it was so numbers driven, I wanted more interaction with people, I wanted to be a part of a group, a team, I like being a leader, and when I approached my boss I asked if there was anything else I could do? They suggested the relocation department and that was the start of my career.

Q:  Do you have a Favorite restaurant?
A:  I am very very particular, my go-to place is still Campiello’s on third.  There are a lot of great restaurants up and down 5th, but I just happen to like more Ma and Pa places better.  My go-to in North Naples is Parmesan Pete’s.

Q:  What is your favorite movie?
A: I like comedy’s, I loved Spy with Melissa McCarthy being my favorite actress, she makes me laugh

Q:  Do you have a favorite band or music you like?
A:  Earth, Wind & Fire, hands down, no one better,  but Bruno Mars is a very close second.
I’m still a disco freak right out of the ’80s, that’s my era. I keep my radio on Studio 54, but I’m not a Jazz lover.

Q:  If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A:  One of two places, Either Greece, my top, or Monte Carlo which I’m just enamored with, and also Croatia because it’s still not discovered. I’ve traveled to so many places that it has to be something different, not the normal, Rome, London, etc.

Q:  What’s your favorite thing in Naples?
A: Well, we have a group in Naples called STD’s (Something to do).  We always have something to do, we have done the scavenger hunt downtown, there’s always something to do, we have a constant group text making suggestions.

When Allie isn’t traveling for work or pleasure, you’ll find her on the tennis courts, and she is an avid pickleball player and Captain of a bocce team!
