Ann Cassidy (Annie)  has been a Naples resident for almost ten years since leaving her home in Washington, DC.

 

 

Q:  Are you currently working in Naples?  
A:   I am an Independent Contractor.

Q:  Do you have a favorite restaurant?
A:  Yes, Osteria Tulia on 5thAve. It has a good atmosphere and great food.

Q:  If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?
A:   Africa is the next place on my list.  Why?  I’ve always wanted to do a safari, and everyone who has traveled there has said it is the greatest experience of their lives. That’s something I want to see for myself.

Q:  What is something on your bucket list?
A:   I would like to skydive.

Q:  Choosing anyone alive and a non-relative, with whom would you love to have lunch and why?  Where would you take them for lunch in Naples?
A:   Ruth Bader Ginsburg.  I am fascinated by her right now; I think she is the most interesting woman in the United States. The Grill Room, at the Ritz Carlton.

Q:  What is something interesting about you that most people don’t know?
A:  I met Rose Kennedy at her home in Hyannis Port. I was with a friend of mine, Kelly Nolen and her parents who were invited to her home.  Kelly’s father was Robert Kennedy’s attorney.

Q:  Who is your favorite band or who is your favorite musician?
A:   Rolling Stones, Justin Timberlake, and Stevie Wonder.

Q:  What would you like people to know about Naples?
A:  You will meet so many great people, from everywhere, in Naples.  The weather’s beautiful, there are lots of outdoor activities, festivals on 5th Ave. and excellent restaurants, and my favorite, sunsets on the beach!
