Laura Poche

I’d like to introduce you to Laura Poche. Laura and her husband Brian own a small business called “Make Cents Cleaning.” Laura and I met when she did an estimate for me on tile restoration. It seems like a simple thing, but when someone can take tile and grout that looks old, dirty and worn out and restore it to something that is beautiful, that makes me happy! She and Brian are in the business of making people happy not only with, Make Cents Cleaning, but in the way they interact with people and the community. Laura was one of the first people to invite me into her home and make Naples feel more like home to me. Yes she CAN cook! They are both welcoming and generous with their time and talent. I’m always impressed with them and happy to call them friends. I hope you enjoy meeting them as much as I have.

Please tell us a little bit about your family. We are a family of five, my husband and myself and 3 children. We love to travel and are big sports fans! I love to cook and they love to eat, so we are a perfect fit!

Please tell us about your current business/career. What do you love most about what you do? My husband is the owner of Make Cents Cleaning, a tile and grout restoration company. I am the estimator/admin/director of promotions and outreach. We have been serving SWFL since 2010. I LOVE meeting new people and seeing them thrilled when the service is complete.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?

A: There are so many, but to name a few Island Gypsy, Jack’s Bait Shack, Pinchers, Taqueria San Julian.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

It’s right by the beach, and we loved walking to the library from there. We were amazed at how big and amazing the Naples Library was.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would you meet for this lunch?

A: Hands down the pioneer woman Ree Drummond! She is the same kind of cook I am, i love to watch her make something out of nothing like my Grandma used to do. We would have lunch at my house where I would cook for her!

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

A: In five years, I see myself as the owner of an all natural skin care company, a social media influencer and blogger.

Q: (Even for friends and family) What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
